Zhang Qi
Chief Architect, China Architecture Design & Research Group Co., Ltd.

Born in Beijing in 1964, Zhang Qi holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Architecture from Tsinghua University. He serves as the Chief Architect of China Architecture Design & Research Group Co., Ltd. and leads Zhang Qi Studio. He is a national-level candidate of the New Century Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project, a recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance, and one of China's Top 100 Contemporary Architects. He has been awarded the Young Architect Award by the Architectural Society of China, the Guanghua Longteng Award – China Design Contribution Award, and the China Design 70 People Nomination Award.

Design Achievements
His works have received multiple national and provincial-level awards. Representative projects include the Peking University Centennial Hall, the Mongolian-Yuan Culture Museum, the Qinghai Grand Theatre, and the Jiangxi Art Center. He is the author of This Scene · This Feeling · This Realm: Reflections and Practice in Architectural Creation. He led the editorial work for the third edition of the Architectural Design Data Collection, Volume 4 – Cultural Buildings and the revision of the Code for Design of Theatre Buildings.

Academic Contributions
He serves as a Master's Supervisor at several institutions, including China Architecture Design & Research Group, Tsinghua University, and Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
