As the core supporting forum of CAAF China Acoustic Expo, the CAAF China Acoustic Industry Development Conference has been successfully held for eight sessions. As an influential professional event in China’s acoustic sector, it serves as a key platform for industry-university-research-application integration as well as a window for industry trend exchanges and cutting-edge technology demonstrations.
We are officially announcing that preparations for the 2027 9th CAAF China Acoustic Industry Development Conference have officially kicked off!
Scheduled for March 20–21, 2027, the conference will take place at the Nanhai International Convention and Exhibition Center in Foshan. Drawing on feedback and suggestions from speakers and industry participants of the previous edition, we have sorted and integrated topics and set up three special forums. We look forward to reuniting with all industry peers in Nanhai in 2027.

An Acoustic Industry Exchange Rooted in Engineering Practices
The 8th CAAF China Acoustic Industry Development Conference 2026 featured five special sessions covering five major themes: acoustics for cultural and sports venues, acoustic design and engineering, noise and vibration control, building sound insulation for high-quality residences, and hotel acoustic design.
More than 30 Chinese and international speakers, including experts from Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Tongji University, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou University, East China Architectural Design & Research Institute, WSDG (US), Marshall Day Acoustics, Delhom Acoustics of France, the Acoustics Institute of Zhongfutai Design Institute, and the Highway Environment Research Center of the Research Institute of Highway under the Ministry of Transport, as well as frontline technical directors from domestic acoustic engineering and acoustic material enterprises, presented numerous real project cases focusing on hall acoustics, acoustic design of sports venues, vibration and noise reduction, sound insulation of residential floor slabs and partition walls, and hotel acoustic design.

The conference went beyond academic discussions, with most presentations focusing on practical pain points in project implementation. After each session, many participants consulted the speakers on project challenges on-site, which facilitated numerous business connections and cooperation between upstream and downstream players of the industrial chain.
Based on post-event questionnaires and on-site industry feedback, we have screened, optimized and consolidated the three most high-concern topics in the current market to design the special sessions for the 2027 conference.

Speaker invitations for this conference prioritize acoustic researchers from universities, chief engineers of design institutes, frontline engineering experts and technical directors of material enterprises. The sharing topics are more oriented toward engineering practices and implementation cases. Combined with current regulations and standards related to noise and building sound insulation, the sessions interpret practical issues during policy implementation.
Q&A sessions are arranged for each special forum, allowing participants to consult industry experts on practical project problems on site.
This conference is held concurrently with the 9th 2027 CAAF China Acoustic Expo. While attending the forum, participants can visit the acoustic product exhibition on-site, creating opportunities for direct communication and negotiation for upstream and downstream industry players.
